Nomenclador de Estudios Oftalmológicos para una Obra Social

Oftalmoscopía Directa e Indirecta:

Método de exploración por excelencia para observar los medios refringentes y la retina, nos muestra in vivo los vasos y el tejido nervioso retiniano.

Tonometría:

Es la técnica para medir presión intraocular

Examen de Prescripción de Cristales:

Medición de probines

Angiografía fluoresceinicas:

Permite obtener el conocimiento de la anatomía, patología y fisiología de la retina y coroides, tratamiento de enfermedades vasculares y maculares de la retina (láser en edema macular diabético, trombosis venosa de rama y degeneración macular relacionada con la edad).

Perimetria o Campo Visual:

Diagnostico y seguimiento de pacientes con glaucoma y en aquellos procesos intracraneales que puedan afectar la vía óptica.

Eletroretinograma:

Determina la presencia o ausencia de función retinal. Evalúa la progresión de degeneración retinal, detecta cambios patológicos en retinopatías toxicas y diagnostico de afecciones retinales, detecta cambios maculares y permite diferenciar lesiones en el nervio óptico.

Eletrooculograma:

Mide la actividad combinada de los fotos receptores y el epitelio pigmentado de la retina. Constituye el complemento del electroretinograma.

Potenciales Visuales Evocados:

Mide la respuesta eléctrica del cerebro a un estimulo visual súbito. Diagnostico de afecciones de retina, nervio óptico, cintillas y radiaciones ópticas o corteza visual.

Ecografía:

Es un elemento diagnostico indispensable para detectar y diferenciar desordenes oculares y orbitarios.

Topografía Corneal:

Se usa en la correcta evaluación del paciente que va a ser sometido a cirugía refractiva, tanto en el pre operatorio como en el post quirúrgico, astigmatismo de alta graduación, queratocono frusto y queratocono posterior.

Paquimetria:

Factor determinante en la indicación de cirugía refractiva.

Tomografía Óptica de Luz Coherente (OCT):

Permite la obtención de cortes transversales de la retina permitiendo la visualización de estructuras como el nervio óptico y retina adyacente.

Gonioscopia:

Estudio del ángulo Iridoesclerocorneal, también denominado senocamerular.

Tomografía Computarizada:

Se emplea para diagnosticar lesiones de determinadas estructuras de la orbita

Resonancia Magnética Nuclear (RNM):

Procedimiento basado en la observación y cuantificación de los fenómenos que se producen en los átomos de los tejidos al variar su estado de energía dentro de un campo electromagnético cuando son estimulados por una señal de radiofrecuencia.
