CALIDAD DE LA ATENCION MEDICA por Dra. Nélida Fernández Busso
En Fascículo Nº 1, Programa de Educación a Distancia
“Nuevas Formas de Organización y Financiación de la Salud”

Sumario
Se aborda el tema en un recorrido histórico y causal de los distintos factores y circunstancias que promovieron a la Calidad hacia un lugar protagónico en la Atención Médica.
A partir de este marco teórico que propicia las actividades de evaluación para acrecentar la calidad, la autora desarrolla los aspectos operativos que conforman el campo de la calidad: áreas,
estrategias, elementos, protagonistas y modelos de monitoreo.

La Dra. Fernández Busso describe distintas técnicas de evaluación de la calidad según la condición que se tome en cuenta: origen, momento de realización, enfoque conceptual de evaluación, tipo de técnicas, validez de resultados, participación de personas involucradas, base que sustenta los juicios y categoría de fenómenos a estudiar.

Por último, dando respuesta a la preocupación actual que busca estrategias para la mejora, propone actividades para iniciar la etapa sustancial de mejoramiento de la calidad.
