Nuevas formas de control de calidad de las prestaciones médicas

La Superintendencia de Riesgos del Trabajo (SRT) está implementando un nuevo programa de “Control de Calidad de Prestaciones Médicas en el Sistema de Riesgos de Trabajo”, el cual posibilitará que un trabajador accidentado o enfermo que se encuentre atendido por una ART y presente una discrepancia en su atención médica o en el alta, sea evaluado por un médico auditor de la superintendencia en forma inmediata, con el objetivo de subsanar ese diferendo.

Esta nueva operatoria prevé que profesionales de la SRT estén presentes en los centros médicos prestadores de las aseguradoras que reciben la mayor cantidad de trabajadores damnificados, y le otorga al sistema eficiencia y agilidad, dado que permite un acceso inmediato a la evaluación del organismo contralor, sin necesidad de iniciar el trámite administrativo que prevé el sistema en las comisiones médicas.

De este modo quien no esté de acuerdo con el tratamiento o con el alta médica otorgada por la ART, en Buenos Aires podrá acceder a las siguientes opciones:
- Comunicarse con un médico auditor de la SRT en el caso de que hubiese para asesorarlo y resolverle los inconvenientes que pudieran presentarse.
- Llamar al 4321-3500 interno 1317 donde será atendido por un médico de la SRT, quien puede asesorarlo telefónicamente u optar por enviar un médico al prestador.

Asimismo la SRT podrá supervisar en terreno la calidad de las prestaciones, evaluar el modo de gestión de los turnos, la práctica realizada de estudios complementarios y traslados, el tiempo de espera para la atención, el confort y el grado de satisfacción del trabajador, asesorar in situ a los damnificados y resolver los inconvenientes en la atención en el mismo momento que se producen.

El pasado jueves 21 de mayo, el Superintendente de Riesgos del Trabajo, Juan González Gaviola, junto al director médico del Centro Médico Fitz Roy, Mario Schusterhoff, inauguraron la nueva operatoria en el mencionado prestador y se puso en funciones a la médica auditora de la SRT, dra. Anabella D`Albo Galassi.

Durante el acto González Gaviola manifestó que “si pensamos en que se producen más de 600.000 accidentes por año y se presentan alrededor de 20.000 divergencias en las prestaciones, estamos observando que sólo en un 4% de los casos los trabajadores no están de acuerdo con la atención que le brindó la aseguradora. Si bien este dato es alentador, queremos que no existan este tipo de reclamos”.

Cabe destacar que el centro médico Fitz Roy y el sanatorio Itoiz son los dos centros médicos en los cuales ya se encuentran trabajando los médicos auditores de la SRT (ambos atienden a más del 40% de los trabajadores cubiertos por las ART en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires y alrededores y concentran el 10% del total del sistema), y en las próximas semanas se nombrarán los auditores en prestadores asentados en las provincias de Córdoba, Mendoza, Tucumán y Santa Fe y luego se extenderá en el resto del país.
